50% SCHOLARSHIP FOR BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
Dean of Tasmanian School of Business & Economics (TSBE) Merit Scholarship
 
In 2019 we are introducing a merit scholarship that offers a 50% discount in course fees to high achieving international students from all countries.
This applies to all courses offered by the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics programs except for the Master of Professional Accounting and the Master of Professional Accounting (Specialisation).*
 
Overview
The University of Tasmania Business Scholarship is offered by TSBE to encourage high performing international students from Indonesia, Latin America, Nigeria and Vietnam to study at the University of Tasmania.
Four (4) scholarships are available for Semester 1 or 2, 2019.
 
TSBE offers a curriculum that is driven by leading-edge research in business and economics, and the future needs of business, industry and professional bodies. TSBE’s curriculum is delivered using contemporary teaching approaches and offers a range of authentic work integrated learning experience with a strong grounding in modern business practices.
 
Eligibility
Available to high achieving international students from Indonesia, Latin America, Nigeria and Vietnam who have an offer of a full-time place in an onshore TSBE undergraduate, honours or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting Specialisation), commencing in Semester 1 or 2, 2019.
Selection will be based on academic merit and the quality of the applicant’s 500-word application response.
The University of Tasmania Business Scholarship cannot be taken with any other scholarship.
 
Ongoing Eligibility
To maintain this scholarship students are required to achieve a Credit (5.0/7.0) cumulative grade point average (CGPA) at the end of each academic year in TSBE units only.
 
Value
For single degree programs, each scholarship covers 100% of registered tuition fees for the duration of the course;
OR
For combined degree programs, each scholarship covers 50% of registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.
