ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (USC)

English is the main language used in teaching in this USC / Latrobe Pathway, so to succeed in your studies, it’s important you meet the necessary requirements. We accept the following English language tests, except where specified:   ​
  • the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic test   
  • ​the TOEL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)   
  • ​the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)  

IELTS (Academic): overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0. ● TOEFL Paper based: overall score of 550 with 5 or better in TWE (Test of Written English).

TOEFL Internet based (iBT): overall score of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing.

Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): overall score of 50 with no communicative skill score less than 50.

The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) is accredited by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). Health Services Cover
In the Philippines, International Students are covered by the following medical plan. The University offers health services, including in-campus medical doctors and dentists, to students through strategically located clinics. Clinic staff can be reached through +63 32 230 0100 local 103 (Talamban Campus) or 204 (Downtown Campus). International students studying in Australia are required by law to obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
 
OSHC provides you with a level of health insurance cover based on the Australian Medicare system.  
We will assist you to organise your OSHC through an institution of your choice or buy it through us.  
OSHC covers you from the day you arrive in Australia.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1
 
International Students Section
▪ Go to https://ismis.usc.edu.ph and upload the required documents 
▪ The International Students Section forwards the application to the University Registrar
for review /evaluation
▪ If qualified based on credentials, the University Registrar endorses further processing of application through email,
▪ Graduate applications will be forwarded by the University Registrar to the Department Chair for further evaluation.
▪ The International Students Section (ISS) issues  referral slip after checking credentials. 
 
Step 2
 
​Admission Office
▪ Present the required credentials with the referral slip from the ISS
▪ Accomplish the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) in digital form  @ ​https://ismis.usc.edu.ph
▪ The Admission Office verifies and issues Student ID Number and Admission Examinations Referral Slip

▪ Secure clearance for enrollment to comply with the Bureau of Immigration requirements and
▪ Officially enrolled student applies for ​Student Visa Extension/Special Study Permit.
